The Sata|HD BlueRAID comes in several configurations, optionally preconfigured hard drives, different connectivity methods, and optional rackmount kit, and optional controller. The basic case includes:
- BlueRAID 800 Case
- Single cable Sata Harness for 8 drives or 2 Infiniband cables
- Optional Rackmount Kit
- Optional SATA drives in popular sizes for a total up to 4Tb
- Optional RAID controller available in PCI-X or PCI-e
This covers a wide range of media and server applications depending on how the case is configured. 8 drives in either direct 8 sata single cable bundle or dual Infiniband (8 lane) delivers over 500MB/s sequential reads and writes in RAID 0*, ideal for high demand server and media applications, see our sata performance benchmarks.
