BlueRAID Benchmarks
The concept behind the BlueRAID 800 series of External Sata Storage
Arrays began and ended with the highest speed for the lowest price,
the benchmarks speak for themselves. OS: Windows XP. Test Method: Sandra

On the Controllers:
With the exception of the H8DCE the controllers used were Highpoint
RocketRAID 8 port controller cards. The 2320 being a PCIe x4 card
tested in a Supermicro H8DCE and the other 2 being PCI-X tested in
the 133Mhz slot of a Supermicro X6DA8. The H8DCE reference is the
8 onboard sata ports, the RAID 5 was done by modifying Disk Manager
to provide software based RAID 5 services and used considerably more
processor power than the 1820a with its hardware based xor engine.
